About us

The Spires aim is to become a nationally recognised serviced suite operator. Established in Aberdeen in 1995, The Spires opened in Glasgow in 2003 and in Birmingham in 2007. Our brand promise to you aims to deliver the highest quality of accommodation and service whichever of our locations you choose to stay be it for business or leisure. The Spires is the trading name of Burnhaven Properties Ltd a company incorporated in Scotland. We are proud of our staff and are committed to investing in their personal and professional development. The company became accredited under the Investors in People award in 2003.

Social Responsibility

The Spires has chosen to support ChildLine as it’s corporate charity. ChildLine is the free, confidential helpline for children in distress or danger, and is manned by fully-trained volunteer counsellors. Not only are staff involved in fundraising activities but guests are encouraged to contribute as well through the use of spare currency envelopes and sale of pin badges. To assist us in continuing improving our service The Spires welcomes guest’s comments and has committed to making a 50 pence donation to ChildLine for every guest feedback questionnaire returned.

At The Spires we recognise that some of our activities can have an effect on the environment.  That’s why we’re continually developing, and reviewing, new principles to minimise these effects. Some of these changes relate to internal business and operational practices whilst others relate to increasing awareness amongst our guests of the impact on the environment of some choices they may make whilst staying at The Spires.
