The two main bus providers in Aberdeen are First Bus and Stagecoach. A variety of national coach operators also run from the bus station which is located on Guild Street. The bus station can be found on the opposite side of Union Square Shopping Centre to the train station. The nearest bus stop to access the city centre is located outside the church across the road from the apartments. The bus stop for coming back from the city centre is located directly opposite.

Timetables can be found posted on the bus shelter or on their websites:

We advise all guests to arrange taxis the night before travel where possible as it can become very difficult to get a taxi at short notice during peak travel times.

Peak travel times are Monday - Friday 7.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.

Please make sure that you advise the taxi company which apartment and block you are currently staying in. Please also let them know if you wish to be picked up from the main car park or the smaller car park.

Aberdeen airport is located in Dyce approximately 5 miles northwest of the city centre and can be reached by taking the A96 in the direction of Inverness.  It is also close to Dyce railway station. A taxi from the city centre costs around £25 - £30. If you are getting a taxi directly from The Spires, the taxi companies advise that you book your taxi at least two hours before your check in time in case of delays caused by traffic. The number for the information line is +44 (0)844 481 6666.
