The most common bus company in Edinburgh is Lothian Buses as they run throughout the city. Prices do vary for different types of tickets. Please bear in mind that when you are purchasing tickets from the driver you need to have exact amount as no change is given.

Trams are another way of getting around Edinburgh. The trams run from Newhaven in the Leith area of Edinburgh right through to Edinburgh Airport. You can purchase tickets from the ticket vending machines available at all trams stops. Different ticket types vary in prices.

Edinburgh Airport is located to the East of the city centre at Ingliston in the City of Edinburgh (EH12 9DN).
